Rare & unique Rolex Day-Date President 118338 with Rolex service
As with all of our watches we strive to offer them for sale in a truly uncompromised condition regardless of the costs involved. In this case, we sent the watch to the UK Rolex service centre where it underwent full service to its movement as well as a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet, in addition a new glass was fitted. The work came to a total of £756.70. The service stickers remain in place and the watch is unworn since the service.
An excellent condition, pre-owned, chronometer certified automatic movement Rolex Day-Date, model reference 118338. Featuring a 36mm yellow gold case with factory set diamond shoulders, housing a white mother of pearl diamond dot dial with diamond baguettes at 6 and 9 o’clock. The dial further shows a weekday aperture at 12 o’clock and a date aperture at 3 o’clock with an external cyclops; both of these can be changed conveniently thanks to the double quickset feature. The dial is surrounded by a yellow gold fluted bezel. All presented on a full retail length yellow gold Rolex President bracelet with a concealed Crownclasp.
This watch will fit up to nearly 7½” (19.1cm) wrist size without any additional links.
As shown in the detailed images this watch is supplied with the original inner box, two swing tags, three booklets, Rolex warranty cardholder, and the Rolex warranty card dated November 2009 when first supplied new in the UK. Further, as with all of our manufacture serviced watches included is the Rolex service warranty booklet, Rolex service invoice, and Rolex service warranty card dated June 2021.
