Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980/1A-001 Full Set Pristine Example

With the rounded octagonal shape of its bezel, the ingenious porthole construction of its case, and its horizontally embossed dial, the Nautilus has epitomized the elegant sports watch since 1976 and for over 40 years has been one of the most desirable watches on the planet.
This reference the 5980/1A-001 was launched in 2006 as part of the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus and was the undisputed star of the show. It is set in the iconic shaped case but with a 40.5mm diameter and set in stainless steel, giving it a luxurious but practical feel on the wrist. The dial is an incredible blue/grey gradient colour in the classic Nautilus style with the horizontal embossed texture and luminous stick hour markers and hands both edged in white gold.
At 3 o’clock is the classic date feature and at 6 o’clock is an enlarged chronograph sub-dial with a 60-minute and 12-hour counter. It is protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass and is water resistant up to 120M thanks to its screw-down crown. It is powered by the Patek calibre CH 28-520 C automatic self-winding mechanism, which is visible through an exhibition caseback. It comes fitted on the integral Nautilus link bracelet in stainless steel with a Patek folding clasp.
Originally purchased in 2010 and in mint condition, which could easily pass as brand new.
As shown in the detailed images this Nautilus is supplied with the original inner and outer Patek Philippe boxes, a Patek Philippe inner box dust cover, the Patek Philippe leather booklet holder, Patek Philippe Nautilus manual, The Collector’s Library booklet, Distributors booklet, Patek Philippe Museum Booklet, and the original Patek Philippe certificate dated June 2010 when first supplied new.
